The Ian Maynard 'Never Give Up Bursary'

At Mindflick, we’re making performance psychology more accessible.

Training is expensive and financial barriers can hold talented people back. That’s why we created the Ian Maynard Never Give Up Bursary: giving one aspiring performance psychologist the chance to complete their MSc with all tuition fees fully covered. 

The winner will enrol in Liverpool John Moores University’s full-time MSc Sport Psychology programme for 2026/27, with tuition fees fully funded by Mindflick. They will also gain access to Mindflick’s practitioner training and exclusive CPD events.

Applications are now open for the 2026/27 academic year.

Who can apply?

We welcome applications from UK ‘Home’ students who meet LJMU’s MSc entry requirements and can show evidence of financial need, such as a low household income, full maintenance loan, dependents, or a registered disability.
