Introduction

In today’s fast-changing business world, success isn’t just about technical skills—it’s about mindset, adaptability, and collaboration. At Hult International Business School, students are challenged to navigate diverse teams and high-stakes environments. To help them thrive, Hult partnered with Mindflick to develop leaders who can think, connect, and perform under pressure.

The challenge

Hult International Business School is a truly global institution, with campuses in San Francisco, London, Boston, and Dubai, and a diverse student body representing over 140 nationalities. Collaboration is at the heart of Hult’s MBA program, where students are placed in diverse teams to solve real-world business challenges.

However, the diversity of cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds presented challenges in fostering healthy team dynamics, managing stress, and preparing students to succeed in high-pressure environments. Hult needed a solution to develop students’ skills, knowledge, and mindsets while introducing a shared language to enable better collaboration.

The solution

Through the Mindflick platform, and supported by bespoke masterclasses, Hult’s students were introduced to tools and strategies that enhanced self-awareness, adaptability, and collaboration. Unlike traditional tools, the Mindflick platform uniquely recognizes the mindset and behavioral shifts that occur in high-stakes situations and in team contexts. By seamlessly integrating with Hult’s team-based curriculum, the masterclasses helped students strengthen communication, improve decision-making, and align their strengths with their teams—equipping them with the skills to excel in real-world, high-pressure business environments.

The impact

The impact was clear—Hult students gained a deeper understanding of themselves and their teams, equipping them to navigate complex, high-pressure environments. Mindflick introduced a shared language that enabled students to tackle conflict constructively and collaborate more effectively, reinforcing key leadership skills.

By embedding the Mindflick platform and bespoke masterclasses into its curriculum, Hult empowered students to challenge cognitive biases, make more intentional decisions, and align their behaviours with their teams' collective goals. The combination of actionable insights and practical frameworks has transformed how students approach leadership and teamwork, preparing them to thrive in the business world.
